INITIAL D Mazda RX-7 Mazda Speed A-spec(FD3S) Yellow Sound & LED Ver.

TRX-7 Mazda Speed A-spec (FD3S), as driven by Keisuke Takahashi in Volume 17 of the manga Initial D, faithfully reproduced in 1/18 scale using resin material.
This version recreates the RX-7 featured in Keisuke’s first battle against the ER34 during the early stages of Project D.

This premium model introduces new gimmicks, including openable retractable headlights and realistic engine start-up and idling sounds.
The fuel cap serves as the power switch—pressing it turns the model ON. By sliding the included magnetic stick near the tip of the hood, the headlight covers open.
Tapping the washer nozzle area of the hood activates the engine sound and idling effect.
Note: The headlight covers can be opened or closed via magnetic stick even when the power is OFF.

As with previous models, LED lighting is included—now with increased brightness.
Touching the front of the hood with the magnetic stick activates the headlights, taillights, reverse lights, and meter panel. A second touch triggers hazard light blinking, and a third touch turns all lights off.

Charging is done via a USB Type-C port, accessible by removing the magnetically attached rear license plate. Approx. 15 minutes of charging is recommended.
(USB cable not included—please prepare one separately.)

The car is equipped with MazdaSpeed MS-02-style 17-inch wheels (polished & black) with a lowered stance, MazdaSpeed front bumper, rear spoiler, red brake calipers, large-diameter muffler, RECARO bucket seats, 4-point harness, and MOMO-style steering wheel.
The license plate replicates the “white” design seen in the manga.

Based on full 3D scans of the real vehicle, this model has been carefully reviewed and supervised by the official license holder "Kodansha" to ensure accuracy in both exterior and interior details.

The packaging features a printed backdrop depicting a manga scene and is released as a 30th Anniversary Limited Edition of Initial D.
