This 1/18 scale model faithfully reproduces the “RX-7 Mazda Speed A-spec (FD3S)” driven by Keisuke Takahashi, which made its first appearance in Volume 17 of the Initial D manga during his first battle against the ER34 as part of “Project D.”
The vehicle is equipped with MazdaSpeed MS-02-style 17-inch wheels (polished & black) and features a lowered stance.
Other specifications include a MazdaSpeed-specific front bumper, rear spoiler, red brake calipers, large-diameter muffler, RECARO bucket seat, 4-point harness, and MOMO-style steering wheel. The license plate is reproduced in white, matching the version shown in the manga.

A same-scale figure of the car’s owner, Keisuke Takahashi, is included. For the figure, a model with a similar physique was 3D scanned, and the facial expression was sculpted from scratch based on his appearance in the manga.
Each figure is individually hand-painted by professional modelers.

The background insert inside the package features a printed manga scene, making this a special Initial D 30th Anniversary Limited Edition.
